Course Description:
This course will build and expand on the knowledge and requisite skills of the NFPA 1041, 2012 Edition Fire Instructor I. Students will develop skills and knowledge that will enhance the department’s planning, implementation, and evaluation of training and educational programs.
Prerequisite:
NFPA 1041 Instructor I
A memory stick is required, and a laptop is highly recommended for blended classes of this course. Students must bring a copy of the Skills Sheets booklet located on the course materials website.
Blended Delivery*:
Online, self-directed learning followed by a five (5) day course.
Online Delivery**:
Online, self-directed and instructor supported learning; students will have eight (8) weeks to complete the class; during this course there will be individual assignments, group assignments and quizzes to be completed on-line.
